The fruit for the 2008 Fromenteau was sourced solely from cool climate and high altitude vineyards of Tumbarumba. This impressive Chardonnay is delicate lemon in colour. The bouquet is restrained, but shows melon and a hint of apple fruit characters intermingled with complexity and subtle oak. The palate is creamy, and full on the front palate with a lingering, lengthy mineral finish.
